How can we improve the quality of care that results in better health for North Carolinians?

North Carolina’s healthcare quality is average at best and our national health ranking is less than desirable. Poor health places a tremendous economic burden on our citizens through increased healthcare costs and lack of a healthy workforce to support our businesses. To grow our competitive advantage, North Carolina must consider the policies and practices needed to create and scale disruptive innovations that improve prevention, diagnosis, treatment and care.
